Alexi Decker graduated with her M.A. from Texas Christian University in 2023, and is currently enrolled as a first-year doctoral student at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Her scholarly interests include the Victorian novel, empire studies, and postcolonial studies. She has presented her research at the North American Victorian Studies Association and the British Women Writers Conference.
